So in case you missed it, Megyn Kelly is back from her unplanned post-debate vacation. Donald Trump, of course, wasted no time and immediately went after her.

In response Roger Ailes and many of the Fox News hosts came out against Trump. Ailes released a statement saying Donald Trumps surprise and unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly during her show last night is as unacceptable as it is disturbing, He went on to say Donald Trump rarely apologizes, although in this case, he should.

Look, Im not going to defend Donald Trumps retweet of tweets calling Kelly a bimbo. I think its a low blow and unnecessary. But the truth is Trump knows media and he knows how to play the game to get millions of dollars worth of attention. Thats what this is all about.

For Fox News to get all bent out of shape about it is odd. This is the largest news network on cable were talking about here. Do they really need to dedicate this much time, effort and energy in a network wide response to Trump? And in doing so, dont they realize theyre giving him exactly what he wants?

Bill Kristol, Editor of The Weekly Standard, addressed this on Newsmax TV earlier today. Kristol rightfully said Fox News needs to stop being thin-skinned and I agree.

The full segment is below. The segment starts out with an interesting conversation about Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren before pivoting to Trump. The entire thing is interesting and worth a watch.
